Morehouse man arrested following vehicle pursuit

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — A 45-minute vehicle pursuit resulted in a crash and the arrest of a Morehouse, Missouri, man Tuesday in Portageville. According to Portageville Police Chief Ronnie Adams, at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, the Portageville Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle for speed violation. The Capitol Police and the National Guard have been alerted and fencing has been put up around the Capitol because Trump Republicans are getting ready to commit more acts of domestic terrorism. They can’t admit that Joe Biden won the presidency fair and square. Trump’s inability to lose graciously is bringing our country down.

SIKESTON — Charles Thomas “Tommy” Eaton Jr., age 72, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at his home in Sikeston. He was born Aug. 27, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Charles T. and Mary Eaton Sr. Following his graduation from Sikeston High School in 1967, he was drafted by the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
