BENTON, Mo. — A week after losing her re-election bid by only 2 votes in the primary election, Scott County Prosecuting Attorney Amanda L. Oesch has officially started the process for a recount. According to online court records, Oesch of Scott City, Missouri, filed on Tuesday a “petition to contest election” in Scott County’s 33rd Judicial Circuit.
