Ceremony held to dedicate memorial wall

SIKESTON - A war memorial honoring Sikeston and Scott County residents who lost their lives while protecting the country was held Saturday morning at Veteran’s Park. The memorial wall constructed in Veterans Park to honor those who lost their live in all wars, beginning with World War I, was funded by donations from a group of veterans and community members. Skelebration draws large crowd

A large crowd converged at the Sikeston Recreation Complex Saturday for Skelebration. The trunk-or-treat event, put on by Sikeston Parks and Recreation, featured many tents giving out candy along with games, events and more.
