CHAFFEE -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldog softball team got just what they needed from their starting pitching and the heart of their lineup on Tuesday afternoon as that combination got them a 4-0 win against the Chaffee Lady Devils. Kacie Evans, daughter of Rick and Karen Evans, is the Standard Democrat's Calendar Girl for September. Evans, a finalist in the 2008 Miss Sikeston Contest, is attending Missouri State University in Springfield and plans to major in nursing.
