POPLAR BLUFF -- Despite a brag he "never ran from a gun" on a Poplar Bluff Police Facebook post seeking his whereabouts, Randy A. Wynn was apprehended without incident Monday. Authorities arrested Wynn, 31, of Poplar Bluff at 9:40 a.m. in front of the Black River Coliseum on suspicion of felonious restraint, armed criminal action, second-degree assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and a parole absconder warrant. PUXICO - A Puxico man died when he was ejected from his vehicle. Jerry M. Brown, 55, of Puxico was killed in an accident at 10 p.m. Monday on County Road 287, a half mile south of Puxico, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
