CAPE GIRARDEAU (SMNS) -- A suspect was in custody Friday afternoon after a robbery at Regions Bank on South Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau. DePaul A. Bush, 36, was charged Saturday with second-degree robbery. According to a probable-cause statement, Bush entered the bank through the front door, laid a deposit slip and a bag on the counter and told an employee it was a robbery. This is just a thought. Have you ever noticed that most problems don't exist until a government agency is formed to solve them? I read the article about Mississippi County being rejected for their road construction by the federal government. But no mention was made of hiring Betty Hearnes to call the White House for help. She would be the person to contact. They don't really need to spend money on a lawyer. I just wanted to pass that suggestion on to the folks...
