CARUTHERSVILLE -- A Portageville resident is now charged in connection with a Sept. 24 murder. Michael Jay Hemmingway, 36, will be arraigned at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Division II of Pemiscot County Court on a charge of tampering with physical evidence in a felony in connection with the death of David L.
