SIKESTON - The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is advising residents of possible 911 service disruption. According to Capt. James McMillen, public information officer, the Sikeston DPS was informed today that the St. Louis, market area is experiencing call failures due to damage to a fiber optic line in the region.
"This is causing interruption to phone services and possible 911 services in Scott, Butler, Dunklin and Stoddard counties," McMillen reported. ...
