New Madrid Police Chief Joey Higgerson reported the arrest of the four after a search warrant was served at a residence on Mill Street following a months-long investigation. SIKESTON -- An hour-long lockdown of Sikeston schools was lifted Monday after law enforcement apprehended two suspects. Just after 1 p.m. Monday all schools in Sikeston were placed on a lockdown after a Missouri Highway Patrol trooper attempted a vehicle stop and shots were fired.
