Born Dec. 28, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late William H. and Lorene Johnson Looney, he was a member of the Riverbend Pentecostal Church of New Madrid. He had worked as a florist at The Corsage Shop in New Madrid, Helen's Flower Shop and North Main Florist in Sikeston and had been an interior designer for Rust & Martin in Cape Girardeau...

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Shirley Kaye Johnson, 70, died Oct. 17, 2017, at the Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center. Born Aug. 19, 1947, in Cairo, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Cletus and Laverne Redd Johnson. Survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, J.T. and Sharon Johnson of East Prairie; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Marilyn Faye and Mike Johnson of East Prairie and Starr Johnson of East Prairie...

SIKESTON -- Floyd E. Presley Sr., age 94, died Oct. 18, 2017, at Delta Skilled Nursing Center in Sikeston. Born Nov. 18, 1922, in Parkin, Ark., to the late Calhoun and Maude (Mask) Presley. Floyd and his wife owned and operated Floyd Presley's Refrigeration for 28 years in Sikeston and were residents of Sikeston for 66 years...
