  • Speakout (Opinion ~ 08/22/20)
It looks like it’s going to be a rough year for school startup. No one is comfortable with the current virus situation. The whole country is in desperate fear of what could happen next. Children naturally want to touch, feel, hug, love and socialize closely with their friends. This is just normal. Teachers are afraid for the children and for themselves. I fear that all school sports and social activities will be canceled. We have already seen proms, graduations, sports and other normal social events canceled or modified for safety. If I was a child again, I would really not know how to, or understand this new environment. I think it’s time we all just stop the politicizing, hate and blame. Let’s just come together to support and protect our children during this crisis.
