SIKESTON — Charles D. Smith, age 69, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at his home near Sikeston. Born Oct. 18, 1952, at Advance, Missouri, he was the son of James Charles and Dora Dixon Smith. In his younger years he worked as a carpenter and then went on to Bunny Bread in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and landed at American Freightways as a truck driver until he was forced into retirement.
