Sikeston had a city council primary election on Feb. 8 and three people ran and 478 people voted. Most of us didn’t know anything about them because no bios had appeared in the newspaper and we weren’t able to find information. Now we have a city election and a school board election coming up on April 5. I don’t know anything about those candidates. I think it would be wonderful if biographies or interviews were put in the newspaper.
