Speakout
(Opinion ~ 09/02/22)
I was just wondering, with all of the churches in Sikeston and Miner, and a matter of fact, all of the churches in Scott County, spending their money to help other cities, states and even countries, why don’t they all get together and help the City of Sikeston? We have more homeless and panhandlers in my 30 years here. Why don’t all the churches get together to spend their money here instead of traveling? I’m still trying to figure that one out. Maybe someone can answer me. Sikeston needs help just like all these all these other states and countries. Our church keeps sending people to foreign countries that don’t even like us to help them. Well why don’t we start here in Sikeston, Missouri.
