Speakout
(Opinion ~ 10/22/22)
I am 77 years old. I don’t own a car so all this arguing over gas prices is over my head. But I know it affects me in other ways. I receive $90 in food stamps and $668 in Social Security. That’s it. I have bills to pay. Rent. Lights. Phone. Doctor and medicine. I’m getting by. My friend takes me to the food bank. I just ant all these people in power to calm down. I want them to think about everything they do affects everyone. Rich or poor. I can’t donate money to make my voice heard. I’m only surviving but I do matter also. God please, please reach to those people in power. They need it. Thank you.
