Sometimes you hear the word equity, but equity does not mean the same as equality. Equity means certain groups get preference over other groups. So when you hear the word equity involved with a business, college or some other institution, it does not mean equality. It means something very, very different. Beware of the word equity. Thank you.

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Eddie Dean “Dink” Sanders Sr., age 72, a resident of East Prairie, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at his home in East Prairie. Eddie was born Feb. 22, 1950, in East Prairie, to the late Charles Edward and Mozella Watson Sanders. He was a lifelong resident of East Prairie and retired as a carpenter.
