Wade - LaValle

NEW MADRID -- Mark and Sherrie Wade have announced the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Lyn, to Lee Crisler LaValle, son of Robert and Linda LaValle of New Madrid.

A 1999 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School, the future bride graduated in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

The prospective bridegroom graduated in 1996 from New Madrid County Central High School. A 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, he is pursuing a Master of Science with a focus in anesthesia at the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia in Nashville, Tenn.

Wedding plans are being finalized for a Feb. 21 ceremony.
