Your view: Thank you

The Sikeston Eagles sponsored a benefit Oct. 30 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event included a dinner, dance and auction.

We would like to extend our greatest appreciation for all who participated. The community opened their hearts and wallets and the proceeds which amount to $3,725 will be donated to the hospital in memory of Rich and Bobby Wrather. We were honored to have the Wrather family attend.

I personally want to thank all the volunteers who helped me organize, decorate and gather donations and auction items. The attendance was spectacular and everyone had a wonderful time. Again, thank you, community, for a successful event.
