Cotton Carnival parade

Crowds lined the streets to take in the 60th Annual American Legion Cotton Carnival Parade, one of the largest parades in the state of Missouri. Among the many bands participating was the Richland High School Band. American Legion National Commander Tom Cadmus had a ride in a real Army Jeep provided by Scott Matthews. Also the parade included many politicians, floats, vehicles and especially favorite with the children were the clowns. Monday's paper will include more photos of the Cotton Carnival events.
