Doris Caudle

DEXTER - Doris Caudle, 74, died Nov. 23, 2003, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born March 17, 1929, in Dexter, daughter of the late Clyde Sitton and Alma Barker Sitton Rose, she attended the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter. She was head of the children's department at Stovall's Department Store in Dexter before retiring.

On May 24, 1947, at Piggott, Ark., she married Lonus E. Caudle who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry L. and Kathy Caudle of Dexter; one daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Earl Metcalf of Dexter; one brother, Don Rose of Nevada, Ohio; two sisters, Frances Pinney of Marion, Ohio, and Linda Magill of Delaware, Ohio; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Vyron Yount and the Rev. Phil Warren will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
