Delta powers past East Prairie

DELTA -- Delta had five players in double figures and never trailed after the first quarter to win handily at home.

Brent Menz had 23 points to lead Delta (10-5). Zack Kelley had 14, Kevin Bartels and Daniel Cook had 12 and Cody Crowden added 10.

Advance had five scorers in double figures in a home win. James Masters led the Hornets (9-4) with 19 points. Tyler Bowman and Drew Sherman had 14 apiece for Advance and Jeremy Limbaugh and Daryl Wade had 12 apiece.

Meadow Hts 69, Woodland 64

Meadow Heights had 10 3-pointers and scored 45 points in the second and third quarters to erase a first quarter deficit and edge Woodland at home.

Heath Fulton led Meadow Heights (8-4) with 20 points, Terry Wagner had 19 and Brad Adams had 17. Cody McCraw led Woodland (9-5) with 28, Chad Hulvey had 21.

St. Vincent won its seventh straight game at home.

The Indians (8-3) trailed at halftime 28-26 before holding St. Pius to 11 second-half points. Alex Armbruster had a big game for St. Vincent with 12 points, eight steals and eight assists. Jacob DeWilde added 10 points for St. Vincent.

Perryville played Crystal City even for two quarters but could not overcome a seven-point first quarter deficit in a road loss.

Perryville was outscored 20-13 in the first quarter but played Crystal City even in the second and third quarter. Nick Hayden led Perryville (2-11) with 14 points, Jared Obendorfer had 13 and Scott Ozark had 11.

Brandon Beuter scored 24 points and helped Leopold past Marquand at home for its first conference win of the season. Kelly Stause added 12 for Leopold (5-7), which has won three in a row. Josh King had 19 and Jay Francis had 16 to lead Marquand.
