SIKESTON -- First there was too much rain in April and May. Then wheat scab infected several wheat fields and now farmers are dealing with a drought. Welcome to the world of farming. With situations like these, it's no wonder that every once in a while Von Priggel, 33, of Oran finds himself asking why he's farming and not doing something else.
