Murrell -- Ferrin

PORTAGEVILLE-- Heather Danielle Murrell and Joseph Ferrin have announced their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady O. Murrell Jr. of Dexter and the late Patricia Murrell. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Arnett Murrell of Portageville, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Fielder of Rector, Ark., and the late Grady O. Murrell Sr. and Lexi Mitchell.

A 1995 graduate of Portageville High School, she graduated in 1999 from Mississippi County Community College in Blytheville, Ark., with an associate degree in applied science -- nursing. She is a registered nurse at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Paul Priggel. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Werlinger of Detroit Lakes, Mich., Jane Priggel of Portageville and the late John Ferrin and Paul Priggel.

He graduated in 1989 from Portageville High School and attended Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. Ferrin farms in a partnership with his father in Portageville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wedding ceremony at 6 p.m. Feb. 22 at St. Eustachius Catholic Church in Portageville.
