Wayne Heath

BLOOMFIELD - Wayne D. Health, 57, died Dec. 16, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Dec. 27, 1944, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to the late Edgar and Nadine Barnett Health, he was raised by his grandparents, the late Charles and Myrtle McLean Fields. A certified public accountant for more than 30 years in the area, he was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge in Dexter, the Shriners in St. Louis and the Dexter Eagles Lodge.

On March 27, 1970, in Dexter, he married Mary Ann Smith, who survives of Bloomfield.

Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Rich Matz of Plaistow, N.H.; one brother, Charles Horn of Roeland Park, Kan.; and three grandchildren, Tiffany Matz, Abby Matz and Ricky Murray of Plaistow.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7 p.m.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Dismuke of Dexter officiating.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
