SLOVAK, Ark. - Mr. and Mrs. George J. Plafcan Sr. have announced the engagement of their daughter, Angela Sue, to Carl Edward Todt Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Edward Todt Sr. of Sikeston, Mo.

The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Cruthis and Mr. and Mrs. John Plafcan.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Todt and Mr. and Mrs. John Dumey.

A nuptial Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. July 20 at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Slovak.
