Bill LaGrand

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - William Lester "Bill" LaGrand, 66, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Jan. 6, 2004, at Fort Wayne.

Born June 18, 1937, in Sikeston, son of Louise LaVigne of Sikeston and the late Lester LaGrand, he graduated from Nuremberg High School, Germany, and had been an officer with the U.S. Navy. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, he owned and operated a financial services office in Fort Wayne, where he was a financial adviser.

His brother, Robert E. LaGrand of Sikeston, also survives.

A memorial graveside service will be conducted at a later date at the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, Mo.
