Ada Choate

SCOTT CITY - Ada Florence Choate, 98, died at 8:07 p.m. Dec. 11, 2002, at the Bertrand Retirement Home.

Born March 26, 1904, in Allenville, daughter of the late William Nelson and Flora Jane Smith Daniels, she had lived in Fairview Heights, Ill., for many years.

On July 24, 1953, in St. Louis, she married Fidelo Glenn Choate who preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 1990.

Survivors include: one sister, Ida Uthoff of Chaffee; and several nieces and nephews.

Nine brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Joseph Hudson will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.
