SIKESTON - It was 1962. Pillbox hats and white gloves were all the rage. Polaroid introduced its fast developing film. Teen-agers were singing "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Blowin' In the Wind." And that was the year Charles M. Mitchell opened his real estate office on North Main Street.
