Call 471-6636

This is in response to the "Dangerous phone calls" in SpeakOut. I'm tired of these single mothers, they get food stamps and are getting in my way. I drive a SUV and I'll drive whatever way I like. I'm tired of the poor people in this town because they just get in my way. They need to get out and mow their lawns or get a job. I drive a SUV and I'll tell you they are safe. I'll drive mine wherever I please.

I want to SpeakOut about the constant running of the red lights around Sikeston. I witness, each and every day, at least three or four at every stop light. It's been said by Capt. Dan Armour that they give out approximately 200 tickets a month for this, but I find it hard to believe that it is not keeping people from continuously running these red lights. They're going to keep it up until somebody gets killed. I see it every day. It's not getting any better, but I never see anybody get stopped for it. I continually see the lights being run but I never see anybody getting stopped for a ticket.

Hey, Mike. Do you have anybody up there you could loan to Portageville and show these people how to run a paper? They have had 12 years to get this graduating class picture in the paper and they didn't make it. Now it's not going to be in there in time for graduation and nobody will know who or when. The people who work there have been there all their lives and they still can't get it right. You think you can loan them somebody down there to help them out a little bit? Would you?

I am calling about the way people drive in Sikeston. I have seen where some have no reason all to drive the way they do. They are inconsiderate, selfish, follow too close and are irresponsible. They do not think ahead and take too great a risk. People need to be more responsible when they drive.
