Bohannon - Gordon

SIKESTON -- John and Phyllis Bohannon have announced the engagement of their daughter, Karen Elaine, to Christopher Michael Gordon, son of Robert and Brenda Gordon of Flat Rock, N.C.

A 1994 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the future bride is also a 2000 graduate of the Three Rivers Community College School of Nursing. She works as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Margaret R. Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, N.C.

The prospective bridegroom graduated in 1986 from East Henderson High School and is a patrol officer for the City of Hendersonville Police Department.

Plans are being finalized for a ceremony Saturday at the Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston.
