Otto Brucker

CHAFFEE - Otto Celestine Brucker, 86, died Dec. 10, 2002, at his home.

Born March 17, 1916, in Oran, son of the late Michael and Emma Scheeter Brucker, he had been a machine operator for the Florsheim Shoe Company and was engaged in farming. A World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, he was of the Catholic belief.

On Oct. 17, 1945, in Kelso, he married Zita Josephine Heuring who preceded him in death on March 20, 1991.

Survivors include: two sons, Mike Brucker of Tampa, Fla., and Tom Brucker of Rockford, Mich.; two daughters, Gerri Powell and Marilyn Burford of Benton; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Two brothers also preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate.

Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery at New Hamburg.
