Meeting planned at historic site

NEW MADRID - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3 to discuss issues related to the Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site.

The public is invited to the meeting which will be at the Mill Street Community Building.

Representatives from the historic site, including Mike Comer, site administrator, will be on hand to present information about the historic site and answer questions.

Agenda items will include information about improvements planned for the house and an update on the painting project. Visitors are invited to share comments on the site and its facilities.
