Burton - Blincoe

SIKESTON -- Shaun Rena Burton and Ryan Joseph Blincoe exchanged marriage vows in a 3 p.m. ceremony April 17, 2004, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church before Monsignor Stephen Schneider, pastor. Linda Scott served as lector and acolytes were Jessica Chinnadurai and Angela Adams of Sikeston.

The bride is the daughter of Carolyn Burton and Mr. and Mrs. John Burton of Sikeston. Parents of the bridegroom are Janie Dukes of Sikeston and Michael Blincoe of Fancy Farm, Ky.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin bridal gown featuring a hand-beaded halter bodice and beaded applique midriff. The skirt and train were complemented with delicate hand beading.

Jenny Below of Dexter and Daun Brewer of Sikeston attended the bride as matrons of honor. Flower girl was Bailey Below, daughter of Jenny and Allen Below of Dexter.

Best men were Scott Blincoe of Fancy Farm and Jason Estes of Diehlstadt. Ty Henley, son of Kim and Rick Henley of Baton Rouge, La., was ring bearer. Ushers were Rick Henley of Baton Rouge and Sam Wise of Sikeston.

Mr. and Mrs. John Jackovic greeted guests and served as registry attendants.

The wedding reception, coordinated with a picnic theme by Pam Burton, was held at the Clinton Building in Sikeston.

Following a trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the new Mr. and Mrs. Blincoe are residing in Sikeston.
