It's a shame that the state patrolman has to do the policeman's job over here in East Prairie. You never see them stopping anyone heading east out of town over here. But the highway patrolman are stopping them. Where are the East Prairie police officers? Sitting over here eating doughnuts and drinking coffee or at the new ice cream place getting milk shakes to drink?

Mr. Jensen, I think it was in very bad taste and uncalled for that people are running down Kmart. The people were very friendly and I miss them. I have talked to a lot of other people who miss the store and I'm not the only one who feels that way.

I can't say I blame all Republicans. I can't say I blame all Democrats. Didn't Governor Holden spend $1 million on his inauguration? And now he's doing all these cuts and cuts and cuts on the budget? As of now, I do not have a job anymore. I have worked for many years and I don't know what to do. But I can't blame one certain party. I think Bush is doing a good job, and I'm not a Republican.

I am 63 years old and my husband is 65. We live on a very limited income. I called and ordered a pizza and was informed by the pizza place that I was on a list that I could not get a delivered pizza. I don't understand this because my money is as good as anybody else's in town, including north, south and east, but evidently not west. I'd like to hear anyone else who has anything to say about this. I asked for a toll-free number to call the owner and was not given that number. I think this is a racist thing and would like to see this investigated.

I am calling about the potholes in Sikeston. The city needs to fix this. We are tearing up our vehicles by driving on these roa
