Woman killed in collision

CHARLESTON -- An East Prairie woman sustained fatal injuries as the result of a two-vehicle collision Wednesday.
Motorist Shyrl A. Bradley, 54, of East Prairie, was traveling at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Mississippi County Missouri Highway 105, five miles south of Charleston, when she attempted to pass several other vehicles and struck the vehicle driven by Charleston resident, Richard T. Gillespie, 28, head-on, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Bradley was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, where she was pronounced dead at 8:38 a.m. Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of funeral arrangements.
