In regards to the 90-year-old Caucasian lady who was reported to have been raped, flogged and sodomized by a young African-American male, will he be charged with a hate crime? If not, why not?

What's going on with the jobs in Sikeston? If a person works for the U.S. government, should they receive government pay or should they receive an hourly wage? If so, who can they contact to find out about that?

What happened to the ABC store here in Sikeston? Did they finally give up in the building across from the tax place? Are they going to open a new store. Please, please, give us some information. They are the best, cheapest place in town.

To the person who called about restaurant etiquette. Unless I missed the boat, I think you are saying you make $9 to $10 an hour and then say you make $2.13 an hour and we should give you a tip. I don't think I should tip anyone. If the restaurant wants more money, then they should raise the prices and raise your pay.

This is for the person who lives across from the DAEOC Head Start Center at the corner of East Kathleen and South New Madrid streets. Would you please put your dogs inside in the mornings? Your dogs are barking, scaring little children. The dogs bark all the time and jump when my children walk by and they are afraid the dogs will get loose. When I picked up my child today from Head Start, an elderly lady was walking her dog in front of her home and stopped several times, thinking that your dog was within reach of her. This isn't safe for the children or for the elderly people walking in your area.

I read where someone was calling about the mess with the Meals on Wheels program. It must be in a mess because my mother and father were on it and they may get two meals a week delivered to their home (maybe sometimes three). My parents have always been thankful for anything they have. They worked hard all their lives and when they got down sick and are no longer able to get around like they used to do, they have always been thankful and give thanks for every bite of food they had. I don't know what has happened, but they sure don't deliver anymore. They used to deliver regularly.
