CARUTHERSVILLE - James Donald "Jim" Chandler, 61, died March 6, 2005, in Dyersburg, Tenn.

Born June 1, 1943, son of Blanche Walker Chandler of Charleston and the late Robert Chandler, he was a former Missouri Conservation Commission agent and a member of the Hayti First Baptist Church.

On June 12, 1962, in Charleston, he married Loretta McAfee who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Randy Nixdorf of Springfield; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Lisa Chandler of Caruthersville; "Toubo" and Anna Chandler of Van Buren; Toby and Karen Chandler of Kennett; and John and Pam Chandler of Rector, Ark.; two sisters, Cindy Ellis of Fort Hood, Texas, and Janess Aldridge of Columbus, Ky.; one brother, Randy Chandler of Wyatt; 18 grandchildren and one great-

grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by one grandchild.

Funeral services were held Wednesday in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Donnie Forrester officiating.

Burial was in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens near Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were: Jim Colbert, Trent Mann, Ricky Riley, Mike Roberts, Lynn Medlin, Gene Cecil, Danny Daniels and Jerry Hudgens.
