Speakout 9/7

I want to say thank you to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety. With your search of my vehicle, I now have considerable damage to the vehicle's interior. The moving violation, I'm sure, will be paid. It will cost a lot more to fix the damage to my vehicle due to the negligence of the officers during the search.

It seems that every time there is a tornado or flood and on the coast a hurricane, the insurance companies say that because of the payout they have to raise premiums. Yet when there are no national disasters for a year or two, premiums stay the same.

It's pretty pathetic that in the paper people want people to work for them, but they want a potential employee to send a resume. They don't want to meet them face to face to tell them of their knowledge. It seems like everyone wants you to use voice mail or a computer or something and then you never get any results. I am a very concerned unemployed fan.

I am looking for an e-mail station called a "Mail Station." If anyone has a used one, I would appreciate if someone would call me at 471-9176.

I think DPS deserves a huge round of applause for catching those guys the other night who did the robbery at Sonic and were linked to a string of other burglaries.

Whoever talked about the rich Republicans better get your facts straight because someone said Kerry and Edwards are richer than Bush and Cheney.
