UPPER CHICHESTER, Pa. - Edna E. Warren Kidd, 74, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Feb. 22, 2004, at Croser Chester Medical Center in Upland.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Tillie Berger Warren, she had lived in Charleston for more than 35 years where she had been employed as a nurse aide at the Charleston Manor. She later moved to Ridley Park and for the three months had lived in Upper Chichester, where she was a member of Herbert W. Best Post 928, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 0193 Ladies Auxiliary and the Senior House Center. She was a member of the Community Church at Folsom.

On March 8, 1963, she married Arnold Ray Kidd who preceded her in death on March 15, 2000.

One son and one granddaughter also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Colin Kidd and Byron Kidd of Sikeston, Mo., and Brian Neal of Philadelphia; five daughters, Ruth Cox of Atlanta, Ga., Helen George of Sikeston, Sandy Gross of Bertrand, Mo., Georgeann Kennedy of Woodlyn and Dorothy Taggart of Chula Vista, Calif.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. Her son-in-law, Dennis Gross, will officiate.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
