Ivalene Wright

SCOTT CITY -- Ivalene Lucille Wright, 73, died March 1, 2008, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 2, 1934, in Brilliant, Ala., daughter of the late George Albert and Molly Bertha Thompson Collier, she had lived most of her life in Malden and Dexter but lived in Scott City for the past several years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter.

In 1996, she married Marion Wright who survives of the home in Cape Girardeau.

Other survivors include: one brother, Mark Collier of Florence, Ala.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harlen Collier, Marvin Collier, Bud Collier and Dale Collier; and one sister, Mamie Buhl.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
