Felix Blocker

BERNIE -- Felix Blocker, 83, died April 19, 2005, at his home.

Born April 1, 1922, at Senath, son of the late Joe and Elizabeth Albertson Blocker, he was a machine operator at the Bernie IXL for 28 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ.

On Aug. 23, 1949, at Leachville, Ark., he married Inez Catherine Autry, who preceded him in death on Oct. 6, 1998.

Four brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: one daughter, Becky Vincent of Bernie; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. Stan Dauck will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
