Speakout 10/20

I'm calling about the negative comments about Paris Tipler. I think that Paris Tipler is the only person on the East Prairie team that has hopes of possibly furthering his football career after high school. I think the players and the fans need to recognize this and do what they can to help him achieve his goals. People from East Prairie should be proud that a man like this grows up in a town like East Prairie. And hope that the kids can see that they can achieve goals by simply playing and working hard. I think everyone on the team should be proud to play with him. Everything he achieves, they achieve also. The young man is a star player, with star potential.

I just wanted to say that I went Monday to the new clinic in Matthews, Mo. and that it is a very nice, clean professional clinic. I was treated nice and friendly. The facility is very nice inside. I just wanted to say congratulations to Matthews. I think you have a winner there with your new clinic. Marilyn Chatman and the girls do a wonderful job. Thank you for helping me feel better.

I live in Miner and am a property owner. Recently, we had a meeting at the town hall and there was a discussion about having some property rezoned commercial. Myself, and other property owners that have property adjacent to it attended. There was not one property owner in agreement to this property being rezoned commercial. Now, I read in the paper on Wednesday, that the alderman go ahead and vote for it to be commercially zoned anyhow. They were all present at the meeting. They all knew how the public was against it, and yet, they go ahead and do it anyway. All I can say is that we've got sorry people for alderman here. They'll probably reap the consequences in the next election.

I was unaware of the fact that in this day and age that they are still handing out drivers license out of a Cracker Jack box. But to the idiot that was driving the white mountaineer this morning on West Street, came off West Street, did not stop at the stop sign on Kingshighway, if you ever pull that again, I will not slam on my brakes. I have full coverage. I hope that you do, too. Because I'm gonna plow you. Is that understood? You almost made me get hit in the rear end. I don't know about you, but I can pay my deductible. You idiot, I hope you can. This is an every morning thing. They run the stop sign on West North Street coming on to Kingshighway. Somebody's gonna get hurt. Then the laughs gonna be on the cops, cause Jesus, it's a half block from your station. You are all sitting on the parking lot having yourselves a party, talking to the new chicks in the new cars. Do your job or give it up. Thank you. Let's see if this one gets printed. I doubt.
