DEXTER - Opal A. Campbell, 89, died March 22, 2005, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

Born Oct. 5, 1915, in Keo, Ark., to the late L.R. "Pat" and Talitha Aslin Patterson, she lived most of her life in Dexter where she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

In 1934, in Bloomfield, she married Louis A. Doerr who preceded her in death.

In 1978, she married Harry Campbell who preceded her in death in 1982.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, L.R. Patterson Jr. and Jimmie Patterson; and four sisters, Barbara Mouser, Pauline Hardy, Ruth Wann and Patricia Patterson.

Survivors include: two daughters, Margarette Norman of St. Louis and Pat Heitmann of Belton; two sisters, Loyce Reed and Virginia Parker of Dexter; and 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-

grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Kevin Chenoweth of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will be in the Dexter Cemetery.
