BERTRAND -- Marvin Lee Booten, 65, died Nov. 29, 2007, at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Nov. 9, 1942, at Harrisburg, Ill., to Emma E. Hobgood Booten of Charleston and the late Hudson Lee Booten, he had lived in Naples, Fla., until moving to Charleston in 1985. He had been employed with M&M Trucking, Big Lake Trucking and Pullen Brothers Trucking until his retirement. He was a member of the Cornerstone Church at Bertrand where he served as an usher.

On April 4, 1980, he married Karla Marie Wilson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Robert Wilson of Naples and Kevin Smith of Rhinelander, Wis.; five daughters, Angela Sanders of Augusta, Ga., Kimberly Oswalt of Naples, Donna Easter of East Prairie, Kristi Carter of Green Bay, Wis., and Tammy Williams of Carmen, Okla.; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. David Cullen of Paducah, Ky., will officiate.

Graveside rites will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Equality, Ill.
