BEECH ISLAND, S.C. -- Mary Lucille Rosier, 81, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died June 10, 2005.

Born June 16, 1923, she was a native of Tiplersville, Mo. For the past 50 years, the Jackson-Beech Island area had been her home. A member of the Second Baptist Church of Beech Island and the Charlotte McElmurray Sunday School class, she was a former Sunday School teacher and choir member.

Survivors include: her husband, Roy E. Rosier; two sons, Barry E. Rosier of Jackson and Stephan R. Rosier of Beech Island; two daughters, Naida M. Hicks of Beech Island and Nancy S. Samples of Fayetteville, Ga.; two sisters, Dorothy McDonald of Los Angeles, Calif., and Janice Jones of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today at the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home in North Augusta.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Second Baptist Church of Beech Island. The Revs. Steven Drawdy and Allen Cantrell will officiate.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be: John Hooper, Mark Rosier, Sammy Norris, Randy Strong, Bradley Hicks, Steve McDade and Allen Boland.
