SJHS freshmen defeat Twin Rivers

BROSELEY -- The Sikeston freshman basketball team improved to 10-2 on the season with a 43-32 road win against Twin Rivers on Thursday.

Sikeston led 17-11 after one quarter and 25-19 at halftime.

Twin Rivers kept things interesting, but cutting into the lead, 31-27 heading into the fourth quarter. But Sikeston was able to pull away for the double digit win down the stretch.

Sikeston was led by Richard Andrews with 20 points. Dominic Fondon added 10 points.

Courvirseya Strickland and Robert Brooks each followed up with four points.

Jake Pratcher added three points and Adrian Dixon had two points.

Twin Rivers was led by Brown with seven points. Johnson and Morse each chipped in with six points.
