Speakout 12/15

Thursday, December 15, 2005

As I was watching and listening to the World News, my heart ached with pain when I heard they was replacing Merry Christmas with Season Greetings on the White House Christmas Cards that they were making out. I can live and deal with the Iraq War. But, when they start taking Christ out of everything, that's another story. Our President is afraid of offending other religions, as far as I'm concerned there's only one true religion. Here he is supposed to be a born again Christian and he's allowing these false religions and gods take over our country. I promise you, he will stand before the Almighty God and be judged like the rest of us. Him being President ain't gonna help him out. He should know better! Thank you. May God bless and Merry Christmas not Merry X-mas.

I began reading a letter to the editor the other day. It was way long and boring and full of big words, too many words. About halfway through, before I saw the signed name, I knew who the author was. Sure enough, it was Preacher John. Where have you been, Johnny?

Why don't they put in the paper when people go in the hospital and when they get discharged from the hospital? And who was admitted through the Emergency Room. I had a cousin died last month and the only way I found out they were dead was through the Sikeston paper. So if you could, would you please put in who is treated and admitted through the emergency room so people will know what's going on with their kin folks. God bless you and have a nice week.
