Mary Jones

LILBOURN - Mary Ellen Hubbard Jones, 71, died Dec. 19, 2005, at Wesley at Dyersburg Nursing Home in Dyersburg, Tenn.

Born Feb. 12, 1934, in Catron, daughter of the late Ralph and Alma Hubbard, she worked as a librarian in Jonesboro, Ark., assisted her parents on their farm near Catron, was involved in the United Methodist Church ministry and lived in retirement in Lilbourn and Ripley, Tenn.

Survivors include: one son, Mark Jones of Ripley; three sisters, her twin, Martha Jean Stewart of Columbia, Ruth Richardson of Hazel Green, Ala. and Alice Bourzikas of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Lilbourn. The Rev. Bill Reid will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn.
