Recob - Jones

FULTON - Catherine Marie Recob and Benjamin Gordon Jones were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony Dec. 16, 2006, at Winston Churchill Memorial and Library at Westminster College in Fulton. Ken Lumley, pastor, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffry D. Recob of Petaluma, Calif. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Basnett of Fulton, Mrs. Donald Recob of Kansas City and the late Donald Recob.

Parents of the bridegroom are Dr. Stanley Gordon Jr. and Mrs. Ann Jones of Sikeston. He is the grandson of Mrs. Edgar Boyer of Crystal City, Donald B. Wischmeier of DeSoto, Mrs. Stanley G. Jones of Sanibel Island, Fla. and the late Stanley Jones.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a one-piece strapless A-line gown of chiffon featuring a ruched, asymmetrical draped overlay.

Maid of honor was Julia Recob of Petaluma, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jaclyn Heider of Fulton, Laura Robertson of Petaluma, Charity Baker of Richland and Sarah Nelson of Jefferson City.

Serving as best man was Brandt Merritt of West Palm Beach, Fla. Groomsmen were Peter S. Jones and Charles P. Jones of Sikeston, brothers of the groom, Rob Satrom of Washington, D.C. and Jon Nelson of Jefferson City. Ushers were Daniel Recob of Houston, brother of the bride, and Terrance Collins of Washington, D.C.

A luncheon reception was held following the ceremony at Mueller Student Center at Westminster College. Assisting with the reception was Debbie McNeil of Petaluma.

Following a honeymoon to New York City, the new Mr. and Mrs. Jones are making their home in Jefferson City.
