VANDUSER - Tim "Termite" Monroe, 54, died Feb. 26, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 16, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late John Richard and Esther Marie Stein Monroe, he graduated from College High School in Cape Girardeau and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He coached T-ball in Vanduser, Scott County Central girls Elementary basketball and summer league softball in Puxico. He was owner of Monroe Glass Co. until 1988 and was a master glazier. He was a mechanic for Bunny Bread from 1991 to 1999, worked for Edgewater Glass from 1999 to 2004, and was presently employed by Tony Johnson Farms. He was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Cape Jaycees and Vanduser Volunteer Fire Department.
On July 26, 1980, in Cape Girardeau, he married Tanya K. Johnson, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Christopher Monroe of Vanduser; two daughters, Jaci Monroe and Stacy Nicole Monroe of Vanduser; one brother, John C. Monroe of Millersville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Revs. Ernest Jordan and Glenn Rogers officiating.
Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
